What better way than a big party to end our Tree Shade Summer Project: Canvas and Plate Institute. We showed off all of our hard work from over the summer, including our art, our work in the garden, and some of our own Tree House grown food.

On Tuesday, April 19th Koji & other members of the Resolve team stopped at Tree House Books for a night of music, conversation, and collaboration. Resolve advocates to end a 25 year war in Northern Uganda that involves a rebel army called the Lords Resistance Army. To learn more about them & how to get involved go to http://www.theresolve.org/tour. We sure learned what it takes to "start something to finish something."

In our first ever International Night, the Tree House Books family traveled to Rome, Italy! The evening began with passport making, and then it was through the portal to a Roma. We played BINGO, learned about the culture, and enjoyed some spaghetti!
